HIGH-PRESSURE PUMPS
FOR EFFICIENCY & SIMPLICITY
Danfoss designs and manufactures high-pressure pumps that deliver reliable performance, low energy consumption, and minimal maintenance in RO and ultrapure water systems. Built with corrosion-resistant materials and a compact footprint, these pumps support consistent and efficient operation in both industrial and municipal applications.
The Danfoss portfolio includes APP pumps for reverse osmosis and PAHT pumps for ultrapure water, each designed to provide long service life and excellent efficiency under high-pressure conditions. Their simple construction and proven durability make them a trusted choice for system designers worldwide.
HIGH-PRESSURE PUMPS FOR REVERSE OSMOSIS
Danfoss high-pressure axial piston pumps, specifically designed for seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) applications, are among the most reliable and sustainable pumps for desalination. The APP pumps can be used in almost any SWRO application, including land-based, offshore, and marine applications. Mounted in containers or trains, the APP pumps can contain several pumps in parallel to ensure an uninterrupted and sufficient supply at all times.

HIGH-PRESSURE PUMPS FOR ULTRAPURE WATER
Danfoss high-pressure PAHT pumps provide an exceptionally reliable solution for your next high-pressure application. The PAHT range includes pumps designed for even the most demanding situations involving deionised and ultrapure water. These pumps can handle flow rates of up to 354 l/min and pressures of up to 160 bar.

HIGH-PRESSURE PUMPS FOR ZLD APPLICATIONS
Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and Minimal Liquid Discharge (MLD) systems are specifically designed for treating industrial wastewater. These systems utilise a membrane-based process that significantly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional evaporation technologies. Membranes have been developed to operate at pressures up to 120 bar. With Danfoss APP W HC pumps, professionals can access a durable, reliable, and highly efficient pump that meets the demanding requirements of these systems.

ENERGY RECOVERY DEVICES
The iSave is a 3-in-1 Energy Recovery Device (ERD) optimised for seawater reverse osmosis applications. With iSave, you get a pressure exchanger, booster pump, and motor integrated into one compact unit, resulting in high efficiency and low operational costs. The small footprint of the iSave makes it a popular solution when space is limited. When fitted with iSave, the Danfoss APP pumps produce more fresh water per square meter than any other system in the market.
iSave can be used in almost any SWRO application – land-based or marine, new or retrofit. The 3-in-1 design enables fast commissioning, continuous performance monitoring, and easy regulation to accommodate seasonal changes. Other isobaric devices have been known to cause over-spinning and over-flushing, which lead to poor process control and low efficiency. This is avoided with the active control possibilities offered by the iSave technology.
